Please make a tax-deductible contribution to support the Backstreet Cultural Museum’s education, programming, exhibition, and community outreach efforts.
The Backstreet Cultural Museum is on the front lines of preserving and maintaining cultural traditions unique to New Orleans.
Your donation will help the museum lift up the value of community-based arts and cultural traditions and educate wider audiences about New Orleans African American heritage.
Over the years, the Backstreet Cultural Museum has been supported by generous donors as well as grants from the Ford Foundation, The Annenberg Foundation, The GRAMMY Foundation, Foundation for the Mid-South, Greater New Orleans Foundation, Entergy New Orleans, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Inc., National Film Preservation Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation, and Southern Partners Fund.
